Update to Credit Card Payment Process

To the Customers of the City of Flagler Beach

We hope this letter finds you and your family are staying safe and healthy and we thank you for being a valued customer of the City of Flagler Beach.

We are writing to inform you about an update to our credit card payment process. On October 1, 2020, a 2.5% transaction fee with a $2.00 minimum will be applied to all credit card transactions where permitted by applicable law. This is a common practice and the fee will not be greater than the cost of acceptance incurred from credit card companies for processing credit card transactions. Please know that the City of Flagler Beach is not making any profit from this fee.

If you choose to pay by credit card, whether it be over the phone, at the counter, a recurring payment or a one-time payment using our website, a transaction/convenience fee will be calculated at the time of payment, based on the transaction amount.

Alternative Payment Methods
