Fraud Alert! “Upcoming Payment” SCAM
The City of Flagler Beach has received several reports of current and former City of Flagler Beach Utility Billing customers receiving a scam email.
What does the scam email look like?
- The scam email is titled “Upcoming Payment” and it is sent from support@pointandpay.com.
- The bottom of the email reads,“ If you would like to suspend, cancel or change this upcoming payment, please log in via the following link:” and prompts you to click on a link.
If you receive this email, please DO NOT click on the link within the email and report the email as “phishing.”
