I am a 7th-generation Floridian, having spent most of my life in neighboring Clay County. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 40 years. We moved to Flagler Beach nearly nine years ago after many years of visiting our now beloved hometown. My only child, son-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren still reside in Clay County, and Flagler Beach is their home away from home.
I bring over 40 years of experience in civil construction, land development, stormwater management, infrastructure design, and deep-rooted relationships with local and state regulatory agencies.
From my early years as a heavy equipment operator in the U.S. Navy Seabees to hard manual labor building roads, installing water and sewer lines, and storm drainage systems, I learned infrastructure from the ground up. My hard work and expertise paved the way for leadership roles as a Director of Land Development and Regional Environmental Compliance Manager. I successfully coordinated large-scale projects and teams and built my reputation on getting things done with a “Can Do!” attitude and practical solutions.
