Library

The library is currently open to visitors on a LIMITED SCHEDULE from 10 AM & 2 PM Tuesday – Saturday.

For those of you who would prefer not to enter the building, PICK-UP service will continue, and the library staff will be here during business hours to fill pick up orders, make copies and answer your questions

Tuesday 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION  FOR ENTERING OUR LIBRARY:

  • FACE MASKS ARE PREFERRED FOR DURATION OF VISIT.
  • MAXIMUM 10 PEOPLE IN BUILDING AT A TIME

In addition to pick-up service, everyone is invited to borrow a book from the “Little Free Library” out front. Located on the sidewalk, it is always stocked with Fiction, Non-Fiction, Paperbacks, and Children’s books.

Location & Services

The Flagler Beach Library is a city owned and operated Library. The library location is ideal for everyone in the family. We are located near one of the entrances of the Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve Walkway.

The city’s Wickline Park is to the rear of our building, which includes picnic areas, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as a playground.

Main Services

  • Book Delivery:  If you are home-bound, call the Library to arrange for a delivery (386) 517-2030.
  • WIFI is available within the perimeter of the building during business hours.  No password is needed.
  • Copying and Scanning Services are available.  Bring the information to the front door and the Librarians will make your copies or scan the information in for you.  Copies are .15 a page for black and white and $1 a page for color.  Scanning: .50 first page or per email address (if more than one) and .25 a page thereafter.

Fees

Because the Library is owned and operated by the City of Flagler Beach, residents within City Limits receive services at no charge.  Proof of Residency is required.

Flagler County Residents may join the Flagler Beach Library for a yearly fee of $10.00. Volusia County residents may join at a rate of $20.00 per year. Please ask about our temporary cards for non-residents. 

**Fines were reinstated as of December 1, 2020 as follows:

.20 per book, per day for all Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction

.10 per book, per day for all Juvenile and Young Adult titles.

                An item is considered late if it is turned in after closing.


PLEASE NOTE: There are NO AUTOMATIC RENEWALS.
